Policies

School Policy:

The school does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, age, color, religion or ethnic origin.

Transfer Policy:

Transfer credit may only be allowed if the student can produce a transcript from a licensed school approved by the state's licensing authority. This applies to schools in or out of Florida and if they meet the following:
Allout of state transfer students needing 600 hours or less shall be given a 100 question written exam to determine if they meet the same curriculum requirements that Melbourne Beauty School sets for its students. A score of 85% or above is considered to have met the criteia.
For all out of state transfer students needing 601 hours or more they shall be given credit for 300 hours and enrolled for the remaining 900 hours. Any out of state student with 300 hours or less shall be enrolled for the entire course.
